A total of forty-six rats were selected and randomly divided into three groups, where the control group (n=6) was treated by feeding fluoride free water; the low fluoride exposure group (n=21) was treated by feeding sodium fluoride solution at a concentration of 100 mg/L; and the high fluoride exposure group (n=19) was treated by feeding sodium fluoride solution at a concentration of 200 mg/L. The dosing period lasted 5 months.; Six-week old Wistar rats, weighting around 25 g (+/- 3g), were provided by the Experimental Animal Center of Tianjin. |
