Different amounts of potassium iodide (KI), sodium fluoride (NaF), and sodium selenite (Na2SeO3) were dissolved into distilled water and prepared for different treatment groups with free access (Table 1). During the experiment, rats were fed with yeast food and the room temperature was maintained at 24 °C. After a 5-month dosing period, rats’ learning memory abilities were measured through Y-maze, and the blood biochemical criterions (i.e., alanine transaminase) were determined at the same time.; A total number of 128 SD rats, provided by the Laboratory Animal Center of Zhejiang Province, were selected for the experiment and randomly divided into 8 groups of 16 each. |
