The animals were kept in standard laboratory conditions with 12 hrs light/dark period at a temperature of 22±2°C as per the guidelines given by the Committee for the Purpose of Control and Supervision on Experimental Animals at the Department of Zoology, Osmania University, Hyderabad, India. Moreover, animals were supplied with dry rat food and drinking water ad libitum.
