After one week adjusting feeding period, the control group was fed with tap water (F- concentration < 1mg/L) and standard food (F- concentration < 5mg/kg, prepared by Guizhou Laboratory Animal Engineering Technology Center). The fluoride dosing group was fed with tap water with a fluoride concentration of 50 mg/L (based on NaF), and standard food. [Vit E antagonistic group was not translated]. After a five-month continuous dosing period, female and male rats, with a ratio of 2:1, were placed into the same cage at 6:00 PM for reproduction. Female rat’s vaginal smear specimen test was conducted in the next morning, if result was positive, it was considered as day 0 for pregnancy.; According to body weight, forty-five 1-month-old SD rats (30 females and 15 males), provided by Guizhou Laboratory Animal Engineering Technology Center, were divided into three groups using random number table with 15 rats per group (10 females, 5 males). |
