NameTypeComments
Developmental neurotoxicity (GD 2-9) Developmental

Wistar female pregnant rats (250–300 g) were injected with 30 mg/kg of the polybrominated diphenylether PBDE- 99 in olive oil (30 mg/ml). Control rats (14 animals) were injected with 1 ml/kg olive oil. Rats were injected daily between days 2 and 9 of pregnancy for E2–E9 group (seven rats) and between days 11 and 19 of pregnancy for E11–E19 group (eight rats). All mothers gave birth without problem, and one litter was obtained from each mother. Control and prenatally exposed pups were weaned 25 days after birth.
